Jaywalking's impact on the culture
side note: Jay's mullet is hot af
We have all heard of Jaywalking and starve for it even if some of us don’t admit to it. Jay Jajal started the lifestyle of Jaywalking back in 2019 and I clearly remember the day I came across their Instagram page, eyes wide open, very excited and thrilled to have found something so fresh. I think their Instagram really took a toll on everyone. They basically encouraged the whole aesthetic of indoor-streetwear-architecture-photography, you get what I’m saying!

This dude has build a brand that has a desirable personality. You see him, you see what he’s doing and you wanna be part of that instantly, at any cost- which explains why his shit is expensive and still booming.
The whole “Why is everything so expensive?”, “Why would I get a tee that’s priced at these numbers?” facade is relevant, but not to Jay. people who throw these comments are also the same ones who go to bed dreaming of having that blue “friends of mr. walking t-shirt” in their wardrobe and are secretly saving up for it. Petty or hypocritical? Go figure.

This is the guy who is the college dropout x4, who came up with a new workout plan (pun forcefully intended) over and over till 1 day he just decided to get on with his illustrations, build a community and sell shit at jaw-dropping rates. The plan seems to have worked out well clearly. Reputation is solid, so the hate doesn’t faze him.
Just wanna get this out of the way: am I the only one who thinks that Jay is a desi DJ Khaled?

One thing that has really blew my mind and made me question Jay’s mindset is the fact that he doesn’t like to learn- his words, not mine. He consecutively chose courses that didn’t interest him- from London to New York to Singapore, mans been around the globe getting educated and learning new things in every new city, still uninterested and dumbfounded till he sat down and started to sell.
Believe in your product and learn at the job; that’s how he climbed the pedestal he is on.
P.S I'd love to give a special mention to Jay's mullet cuz that hair has been looking clean for years now.
P.P.S you can shop their collection here:
